Residential Installation
Included with your residential equipment package is our HughesNet .74 meter satellite dish and our newest HughesNet HN7000S modem, designed to deliver higher speeds and improved performance. The HN7000S receives and transmits data by satellite through the HughesNet network.
The HN7000S is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems and connects to your computer with an ethernet connection.
Installation
Standard Installation is included with all new equipment packages. After you place your order, our office will contact you to schedule your installation appointment. A HughesNet certified, professional installer will arrive on the scheduled date with the HughesNet equipment to get your internet service connected.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires that only trained professionals may install two-way satellite systems, such as HughesNet.

Included with Standard Installation:
Mounting the satellite dish to a Hughes and FCC approved existing structure, using the Hughes standard roof or wall mast. (Note: Wall mounts must not be attached to surfaces that cannot support the system—such as stucco and aluminum or vinyl siding.)
Mounting to a surface requiring a 25' ladder or shorter.
Installing up to 100’ of dual coax cable from the dish to the modem—penetrating one exterior wall on through the same interior wall.
Providing the grounding supplies and properly grounding the system.
Installing the HughesNet modem and connecting it to one computer.
Verifying receipt of satellite signal and commissioning your HughesNet account.

NOT Included with Standard Installation:
Complex or custom installations.
Mounting to a surface that exceeds one story in height.
Non-penetrating roof mounts or pole mounts.
Moldings or hardware to help hide cables.
Fishing cable through walls, attics, ceilings or basements.
Cable Trenching or additional cable beyond 100'.
Networking multiple computers or set-up of more than one computer.
Removal of existing equipment.
Please discuss any non-standard work with installer prior to installation—extra charges may apply.
